Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Incendio ("the app", "we", "us") helps you clean up your photo library by finding
duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, downloads, and large videos, and letting you delete
or organize them. We built Incendio to be private by design. This policy explains what the
app does and does not do with your data.
The short version: Incendio processes your photos entirely on your device.
We do not have servers that receive your photos, we do not require an account, and we do not
sell or share your personal data.
Photos and on-device processing
- Incendio requests access to your photo library through Apple's standard Photos permission.
You can grant or revoke this at any time in the iOS Settings app.
- All analysis — including duplicate and similar-photo detection using Apple's on-device
Vision framework — runs locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to
any third party.
- When you choose to delete or organize photos, those actions are performed directly against
your device's photo library through Apple's Photos APIs.
Information stored on your device
- Incendio saves preferences, cleanup statistics (such as storage reclaimed and items
reviewed), and analysis caches locally on your device to make the app faster and to show
your achievements.
- This information stays on your device and within your own iCloud/device backups. We do not
have access to it.
Purchases
- Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
- We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us only with the
anonymous transaction information needed to verify your purchase and unlock features.
- Purchase verification and entitlement checks use Apple's StoreKit framework on your device.
Analytics and advertising
Incendio does not display third-party advertising and does not track you across other apps
or websites.
Children's privacy
Incendio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children.
Changes to this policy
